This page explains the small files and browser storage this website uses, and how you stay in control of them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage works in a similar way, but the information stays on your device and is not sent with every visit. Some are needed for a site to work; others, like analytics cookies, are optional and need your consent.
What we use
| Name | Type and purpose | How long | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics cookie: tells one visit apart from another | 2 years | Only if you accept |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics cookie: keeps track of your current visit | 2 years | Only if you accept |
| mmt-consent | Browser storage: remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we don't ask on every page | 6 months | After you choose |
| mmt-message, mmt-tour | Browser storage: carries the trip you wrote or the tour you picked into the enquiry form | Until you close the tab | Only when you use those buttons |
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share information for advertising.
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Accept and Reject are equally easy, and nothing optional is set before you choose. You can change your mind at any time with , also at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
You can also delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect how the website works.
